For Children

Programs and services especially for children.

The Norma Anders Public Library believes that it is important to establish a life long love of reading.  We provide books for all ages starting with simple board books and audio books to picture books, leveled readers, and chapter books.  We have a year-round story time which meets on Monday mornings at 10 a.m. We are excited to be offering even more programs, such as special events during the Farmer's Market on Main and special seasonal programs. Our MakerSpace activities and Fun Fridays give kids a place to create and build.  The library has also offered outreach story time to the local day care center and kids' jump time.  In the summer we offer special enrichment programs and reading incentives.

We hope to engage young readers with our wide selection of picture and chapter books. We encourage children to stay awhile by providing games and puzzles and Lincoln logs and a very cozy bench to sit on with friends or a parent.
