Be Your Own Historian Program, Thursday, April 21 at 6:30 p.m.

If you have been enjoying reading recent posts on Facebook about the history of Dysart, this session will teach you how you can do your own family and community research. Join us for a short presentation on the free resources available in Tama and Benton counties, followed by an open computer lab time where you can start searching old newspapers for yourself. Presented by Carrie Koster of goodpasturefarm.com

Community Input

We are in the process of developing new goals to better serve our community and the surrounding area. We need your input and will soon be asking you to complete surveys and provide suggestions for services and programs. Please feel free to share any ideas with staff. Weekly Children's Programs

We're bringing back some of our favorite kids' programs and trying a few that are new! We're also trying a new format, offering programs for a week rather than just one day, allowing more kids to participate. Use the following links for more information on these kids' programs: Bibliomania!, Kids Build!, STEM Centers, Story Walk & STEAM Centers, and Creation Stations.

Preschool Stories & More

Join us Wednesday mornings starting September 8 at 10 a.m. for music, movement, interactive stories and more. Children aged birth through preschool and their caregivers will have fun learning with music, finger plays, flannel stories and picture books.  Afterwards, stay and play in our children’s area. Connect with other parents and caregivers while your littles explore, create, build, and make new friends.
