What's New @ the Norma Anders Public Library 

 

UPCOMING PROGRAMS:  

Holiday Hours: The library will be closed Saturday, September 4 and Monday, September 6 for the Labor Day holiday weekend.

 

Knit & Stitch, Tuesdays from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Bring your current knitting, crochet, or other stitching project and enjoy the company of others who can also provide ideas and tips. 

 

Preschool Stories & More, Wednesday, September 8, 10 a.m. Children aged birth through preschool and their caregivers are invited to join us at the library for music, movement, interactive stories and activities. Afterwards, stay and play in our children’s area. Explore, create, build, and make new friends!


With Flying Colors, Thursday, September 9 from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Main Library. Relax with adult-coloring and journal-making at this drop-in program any time between 1:30 and 2:30 p.m. We have coloring pages and smaller projects like bookmarks along with colored pencils, washi tape, stencils and markers.

 

Afternoon Book Club, Monday, September 13 at 1:30 p.m. to discuss The Exiles by Christina Baker Kline. Please remember to bring your suggestions for future selections.

 

MakerSpace: Create and build in our children's area MakerSpace during normal hours. Kitted crafts and coloring pages are available to make on-site or to take home. Build with Legos and other building sets using our weekly theme or design something on your own. We'll even put your creations on display!
