Tama County ISU Extension & Outreach Story Time, Wednesday, June 18 at 10:15 a.m.
Follow the Path to 4-H with the Tama County ISU Extension and Outreach team.
S.O.A. R. Raptor Program, Monday, June 23 at 10 a.m. at the Dysart Community Building
The SOAR (Saving Our Avian Resources) Ambassador Team will present a live bird program for all ages. SOAR programs stress their mission of raptor rehabilitation, education, and research.
Chomp...Crunch...Munch... with the Tama County Conservation Program, Wednesday, June 25 at 10 a.m.
Listen to a story and learn about animal teeth with this hands-on program with the Tama County Conservation naturalist.
Absolute Science Bubble Stations, Thursday, July 3 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Dysart City Park
Join us for fun night of bubble making in the Dysart City Park on Thursday, July 3. The fun begins at 6 p.m. and will wrap up at 8 p.m. Make bubbles using hundreds of different shaped wands from all over the world at this come-and-go program for all ages.
Pint-Sized Polkas, Monday, August 11 at 6:30 p.m. at the Dysart Community Building
Sing, clap and dance along with accordionist Mike Schneider. Audience members of all ages will delight in his music and humor.

We're taking story time "on the road" this summer! We're planning events at parks, nature areas, and the museum in Dysart.
Art Sparks! Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Create projects based on the works of famous artists and styles.
On-Going Monthly Programs
Farmer's Market Outreach, 2nd Tuesdays 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Find us at the Dysart Farmer's Market located in Dysart's beautiful city park. Each week is a different activity. Contact the library for more information.
Playdough at the Park, every 3rd Tuesday from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Dysart Farmer's Market Open Shelter
We're bringing playdough and play sets to the park. Each week will be a different theme. *Please note, creations will NOT be sent home. The playdough will be reused every session.
Everyday Fun @ the Library
Drop-In Playtime at the Library, any day during normal hours.
Meet your friends for play date at the library. We have Melissa and Doug toys, a train table, puzzles, blocks, puppet theater and lots of fun books to read. Find changing projects in our MakerSpace, too.
MakerSpace STEAM Fun & Kids Build: Every Day
Craft, color, learn and build in our MakerSpace featuring STEAM projects throughout the summer! Solve problems with STEM and building challenges , code with Bee Bots coding activities, and explore circuits with our new circuit sets. We'll also be offering kitted crafts and coloring projects. Explore, learn and create when it fits your schedule.
We always have Lego/Duplo and magnetic tile stations available and will rotate other building sets throughout the week. Sets may be brought out upon request, if available.

Preschool through High School
Read 120 minutes to complete your card.
Read books, newspapers, magazines, or graphic novels. Read together or on your own, just have fun reading!
Turn in completed cards to earn instant rewards and to be entered into the monthly drawing for Barnes & Nobel gift certificates.

Read a book that fits the monthly theme, then enter our monthly drawing for local business gift certificates.
